Hannelore Elsner

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Flanders (a slightly fictitious version of left winged German author Gisela Elsner) travels into the German capitol. She is deeply depressed by the events that have unfolded because she saw the socialist state as the future. Being the only sad person while everyone around her celebrates, it seems nobody understands her and as though she has no place to go.
